30 March 2016Couldn't get away yesterday as Kirsty, Dale & Carter were with us! But now 11:25, 10.5 degrees (but feels warmer) & we're hoping to catch a few fish before the end of the season. All set up with a worm in the water by 12:30. Fished and relaxed for the rest of the day - no fish though but a beautiful, if somewhat cool day. Had steak, mushroom sauce and fresh corn for tea. Bed at around 22:00 - 8 degrees and dropping!

Up at 07:45 - completely fogged in and 2.5 degrees. Fog burnt off and we fished til midday - nothing. Didn't want worms, wet flies, dry flies or 6 different lures. So we decided we may as well head home and get ready for work tomorrow!
